The outskirts of Table Mountain is heaven for outdoor lovers. Newlands Forest is only a small portion, yet it boasts so many hiking and running trails. The most popular for joggers is th Woodcutter trail. The 6 km path is surrounded by an indigenous forest that enhances the tranquillity. It also provides sufficient shade during hot and humid summer days. It also protects you from rain and cold during winter.
