While visiting Grenoble, if you want to get a quick look at the city from above without having to get up to the Bastille, this spot is perfect! After crossing the Saint Laurent Bridge from the city center, you'll get to the quartier Saint Laurent with the Bastille on one side and the river Isère on the other. From there you'll see a huge statue in front of you, the fountain of the lion and the snake. Just on the right, you'll see some stairs going up. Follow the stairs going left and you will arrive at a small spot with a bench next to the musée Dauphinois, from where you have an amazing view of the city and the mountains around. #photography #hiking #viewpoint #grenoble
