Terreiro De Jesus
Laid out in 1549, this square is a hive of activity. Capoeira dancers, a form of martial art, fling themselves around to the beat of drums, women in hooped skirts will pose for photos (at a cost) and see the fountain where hundreds of fitas, thin ribbons, are tied to the railings. The square joins Largo do Cruzeiro de Sao Francisco, a wide cobbled street /square lined with souvenir shops and restaurants where you can sit outside. #TerreirodeJesus #SalvadordaBahia #Capoeira
