This national park has sub-tropical rainforest, similar to Mary Cairncross Nature Reserve, being in same terrain, but with more rustic trails. Again, there are a few trails cater to different needs and ability. I saw mothers with their children, grandfather with grandchildren and school kids enjoying their holiday here. Driving up to Mapleton, the landscape grows more desolated. The very quiet neighbourhood has signs of auction and sale here and there, making it a rather sad sight.
