Blue Hills Reservation is hands-down the best hiking nearest to Boston. The Skyline Trail gives a beautiful view of the city (first picture), especially when you look at it from the Eliot Tower (fourth picture). My boyfriend and I found that Blue Hills was a place we felt comfortable going off-the-beaten-path because it was a rare moment that we couldn't hear cars in the faint distance, so we had no fear of getting lost. The gift shop at the top is a nice little place to stop for a memento, and at the bottom of the reservation there's a tiny museum to check out as well. #Boston #hiking #outdoor
