Once you swing open the traditional wooden cantina doors, you’ll find a small but now hip pulqueria that’s been open since 1947. There’s no jukebox and the tables are small, but it’s still a great spot for a drink on your own or with one or two friends. If they have the pistachio curado, give it a try. It will come with pistachio pieces and nutmeg sprinkled on top. If you want the plain blanco pulque, you’ll be able to choose the strength: light, medium, or strong.
