Holy Trinity Church called the Chapel of the Castle is one of the most valuable and the most interesting monuments of medieval art in Poland. The earliest mention of the Gothic Chapel comes from 1326. In the fifteenth century King Wladyslaw Jagiello ordered some Russian master painters, led by Andrzej, to cover the interior of the Chapel by frescoes. They used technique and style of the East.
