Visit the more correct Mitad del Mundo (middle of the world) here at the Museo de Intiñan. While some still say that this equator line is not entirely correct, the science experiments that you will experience along the tour may tell a different story! If taking a tour be sure to research it well as most tours will take you to the initial (and incorrect) Mitad del Mundo with the large monument erected by the government.
