This 17th-century Old Town pillar with a statue of King Sigismund III is the perfect landmark to meet your friends for a walking tour or a night out. There are many restaurants off the square. Head south down the pedestrian-friendly Krakowskie Przedmieście street passing the golden Virgin Mary statue at Matka Boska Passawska, the numerous palaces and modern art museum to get to the Nicholas Copernicus Monument.
