The beach is actually situated 3 km away from the city centre. As the traffic is not hectic, I really recommend you to get there by bike. There are plenty of coconut tree to offer you some shadow. There a mix of local and tourist there, and it is quite peaceful. You can enjoy some street food on the beach if you wish to. #beach #swimming
