Take the red line outbound from Park Street to Kendall and walk about five minutes to the Kendall Center Rooftop Garden. As you walk past a parking garage you'll notice one wall on the outside that's decorated green. Walk up many flights of stairs (or take the elevator! It's handicap accessible!) up to the R floor - R standing for rooftop. Up there you'll find a beautiful garden with an equally beautiful view of the city. Sit at a table or in the grass to have a picnic or read a book, or sit on one of their free seating cushions.
