Located in Chapultepec Park, the museum contains thousands of statues, figurines, pottery, carved panels and huge pieces of stone from pyramids and temples from Aztec and Mayan times. It's easy to spend hours here. English explanations tracing the history of the inhabitants of Mexico make interesting reading and you'll see a ball court, used to play games by Mayan. There can be queues to get in especially on Sundays when it's free for residents. #mexicocity #museum #history
