Professor Engineer Dimitrie Leonida Technical Museum
Located on a side alley of the Carol Park, the Technical Museum in Bucharest houses an interesting collection of no less than 6500 artifacts. The museum displays mainly electronic and mechanical objects and it's a great place to understand the Romanian history of technology. Here you can find a steam engine from 1888, two electric generators from 1882, and the engine of the first tram that ran in Bucharest. Kids especially are delighted to explore this hidden museum of the capital but adults may enjoy it too. The small museum was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by Dimitrie Leonida, who was a famous Romanian scientist. #bucharest #romania #museum
