Olympic Peninsula Loop Drive
This is one road where you’re going to have to take side road detours to see a lot of the good stuff. No roads actually bisect the National Park, though some notable ones that go in towards the center are the Lake Quinault Loop, the Hoh River Rd, and, my personal favorite, the Sol Duc River road. Also make sure you stop and see the coast. Olympic National Park has the longest protected coastline in the lower 48. The Pacific crashing and carrying giant fallen trees on a coast lined with sea stacks is a sight to behold. Go up through the Neah Bay reservation to Cape Flattery to finish your trip at the most Northwestern Point in the lower 48. #views #photography #climbing #mountains
