The best sandwiches in Sarasota can be found right on Siesta Key at Anna's. A staple on the key since 1971 this small deli can have a line out the door at lunch time for their sandwiches. They have multiple locations (check for closings) but the original and best, in my opinion, is the one I've mapped here towards the Southern end of the Key. Easily within walking distance from the southern end of Siesta Key Beach, and when all traffic is required to stop for pedestrians you can easily get across the street even in the busiest days. They're famous for their Surfer sandwich (ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, cucumber), although I prefer the Fiesta ( liverwurst, salami, Swiss cheese, cucumber) but let's be real, you can't go wrong. #lunch #food #deli #delisandwiches #siestakey #delicious #localfood
