[CLOSED] Institute of Contemporary Art
Like many contemporary museums, this one might not appeal to all art lovers and a good bit of it can be hit-or-miss. But I really did enjoy the vision and originality of the temporary exhibits that were here during our last visit to Philly. ICA also has a history of being the first (or at least a very early) presenter of exhibitions by artists who eventually became household names, they organized Andy Warhol’s debut solo museum show. Admission is free and you may end up with bragging rights about having been one of the first to experience art’s “next big thing”.
