This mosque is the free alternative to Hagia Sophia museum. If you don’t want to pay the 60 Turkish liras of the entrance to the museum, this mosque is the mock up of the big one and is for free. Honestly it doesn’t look very similar from the inside, but the truth is that this one was built first by the same arquitect as a test. It’s worth a visit and it still works as a mosque (the big one is a museum) so be very respectful during prayer time. #mosque #istanbul #ayasofya
