Every June, the town of Apalit in Pampanga celebrates the feast day of St. John the Baptist and a fluvial parade is being held in Pampanga River. The locals will splash waters on you as you go down the street as part of the celebration, because it was St. John the Baptist who baptized Jesus Christ.
