Las Vegas Natural History Museum
Most visitors to Las Vegas probably don’t even know that the city has a national history museum. In fact, most locals don’t know that either. But the Las Vegas Natural History Museum officially opened its doors in 1991, and today hosts a world-class collection of wildlife exhibits from prehistoric times to the present. It is also a state and federal collections repository for paleontological and archaeological materials collected on both public lands and from the private sector. The Museum’s repository is home to hundreds of thousands of artifacts and fossils from southern Nevada. #museum #vegasmuseum #prehistoricartifacts #history #familyfriendly
