Floyd is a random little town along Virginia's Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail that packs a lot of punch. Make sure to plan your visit for a summer Friday night when the town comes alive with small groups of bluegrass band players playing music along the streets downtown. Head to the country store first at 4:30pm and get your $7 tickets for the Friday night jamboree which usually features at least 5 bands.
