If you're at all into Biblical history, or just want a nice view over the Jordan River and Dead Sea, Mount Nebo is an oddly adorned high point in the desert that marks the resting place of the prophet, Moses. Though no one knows where he truly remains, Moses was said to have a view of the Promised Land from atop this peak. As with most historic religious sites, churches have been built over the site.
