A lot of people think that hiking is only for going up in the mountains, but that not is the case. You can also hike without your hiking boots sometimes as well! What!? Where!? How dare you!? It’s true though! When the tide is right you can kick off your shoes and head down a #beach for a wonderful hike. With this hike you start at East Beach and work your way down all the way into Montecito. If you’re really adventurous then you can meander your way down to Carpinteria State Beach. From East Beach to Montecito is about four miles round trip. Go at low tide because the water in a lot of places goes all the way up to the rock cliffs in some places. #hiking
