Channel Islands National Park
Well I have a new favorite national park. This one is one of the least visited due to its supposed difficulty though f getting there. But it's really not that difficult you just gotta cough up a fair bit of money to get there ($78 for campers transport to Santa Cruz Island, more for Islands farther away). There are 5 islands in the national park all with their own pulls. I went to Santa Cruz and I'll post more on that. Make the money worth it and camp for a few days and really get to know the places, it's absolutely spectacular. And you basically get a free whale watching trip out of the boat ride to and from the islands. We saw a huge feeding frenzy of sea birds, dolphins, and humpback whales. Book the boat rides through island packers in Ventura. #hiking #extreme #camping #history
