You can’t miss Vienna’s eye-catching, Art Nouveau Secession Museum, with its impressive facade and “golden cabbage” perched atop the roof. It was originally established to showcase the works of forward-leaning artists who were breaking away from the old guard establishment. Contemporary exhibitions take place here but the big draw is Klimt’s “Beethoven Frieze”, located down in the basement.
