Image of rice paddies and the farm houses in the vicinity of Chhimi Lhakhang, also know as the temple of the Divine Mad man. The monastery is also known worldwide as the Fertility temple, and the pilgrims were strike with a 10 inch wooden phallus. The farm houses around the area also have phallus paintings on walls and carved wooden phalluses on houses tops. If you are visiting the area, it is highly recommended that you walk around the rice paddies and farmhouses before visiting the monastery. #bhutan #photography
