A small town of Naftalan hides one of the most unique therapeutic spas. Locals believe that crude oil has a beneficial effects on the body while Azeri scientist point out that the town is the only place in the world where oil have such properties. Don't expect a fancy spa resort, it is mostly a Soviet sanatorium offering several different treatments.
