HI Boston is a fabulous hostel to stay in. It's located right on Stuart street downtown, close to Chinatown, bars and the best clubs. The dorm itself is modern, clean and cozy. There's a cafe inside as well as study/work space. Perhaps the best feature of HI Boston is that they really try to better the community and make explorers' stay truly great. That's why they have different events every day: from waking tours of the city (free) to Harpoon brewery tour ($5 + subway ticket), to pub night on Saturdays.
