Cioccolato Peyrano dal 1915
Peyrano also has a long history of chocolate making, opened in 1915 just across the banks of the Po River. Still operated by the Peyrano family, this chocolate shop is one of the most luxurious and was a favorite of the Italian Royal Family. In addition to all the rich chocolate treats on display, Peyrano also makes a chocolate spread that will ruin Nutella for you forever. Their cocoa beans are toasted with Italian olive branches and their gianduiotti are known to have higher hazelnut content, which might be what makes their chocolates so spectacular. Peyrano also offers a tour of their factory, which remained open even through World War II. #chocolate #historiceats #torino
