[CLOSED] The National Art Center, Tokyo
The National Art Center building was designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa. It’s stunning inside and out, with a curving glass façade letting light flood into the interior. This makes the center worth visiting for the architecture as much as the exhibitions. While major exhibitions usually have an admission charge, many exhibitions held here are free. The exhibitions change regularly and could include painting, sculpture, calligraphy and other art forms, by Japanese and international artists. #tokyo #free #art #architecture
