Darb1718 is an art center in Old Cairo, El Fustat. This place is the most “authentic” public art space you’ll find here, but it’s a trek from where you’ll probably be staying. Perhaps, Darb1718 would be a great end-of-day treat after a visit to the monuments of Old Cairo. Darb1718 is an open-air space with the audience composing of bean bag chairs in the garden. There’s a host of cats and dogs always around the area, and a lot of colorful pottery decorating the place.
