Playa Ancon is the nearest and most beautiful beach. It is located 12km out of town so you can rent a bike to get there, take the bus for 2.50$ or taxi for 5-8$ per taxi. The beach itself is beautiful and it can be worthwhile to hang around when the sun goes down.
