USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
The US Open is one of the highlights on the calendar of any NYC sports fan. Not only does it showcase the sport and its stars at the highest level, a day at this wonderful complex is just one of the most flat-out fun things you can do all summer. Stadium tickets get you into two or three prime matches during either the afternoon or evening runs (heads up, the latter can stretch into the wee hours of the morning). If indoor seating prices are a little steep for your wallet, fear not. You can also purchase a relatively inexpensive grounds pass that allows you to catch outdoor matches and practice sessions, viewing on one of the numerous giant screens and access to restaurants, bars, shops and loads of tennis related activities. Plan to spend the whole day at this one!
