Another wonderful winery in the Douro Valley to visit is Quinta da Roêda. It’s also Croft’s flagship vineyard estate located in Pinhão. The winery took after the Roêda’s old horse stables, restoring the property to keep some of the old traditional Douro Valley style. You can taste some of their renowned port wines or sample some of the estate’s local homemade olive oil. The winery has a lovely terrace that overlooks some lush vineyards, making it a great place to spend an afternoon. Make sure to try Croft’s newest creation, the Rosé Port.
