Mikulov, železniční Stanice
The South Moravian region of the Czech Republic is known for its wine. This photo is of the village of Mikulov within the region, where I stayed at the hotel Pod kozím hrádkem. I hesitate to call it a hotel, as the word does not provide an accurate picture in the mind. The building was a small, family-run, circular-shaped structure with a portion of it built into a hillside wine cellar. My guide and I ate an authentic Czech dinner in a portion of the cellar. The night we stayed, there was low water pressure due to a "rich man" from Prague filling his pool next door. The villagers were understandably upset with the rich man as they had no water, with the exception of a slight stream of cold water. Lucky for us, the next morning the water pressure was back to normal. Honestly, the entire place reaped culture. It was awesome. #travelcz #czechrepublic #authentic #authenticcuisine #czech #matadornetwork #travelstoke #travel #visitcz #culture
