Clynelish Brora Distillery. Established in 1819 by the Duke of Sutherland to create a market for the barley produced on his lands, Clynelish distillery #1 (renamed Brora in 1975) operated until 1983. To meet production demands, a second distillery was built on the same site in 1968, and it is this newer distillery that we now know as Clynelish. #whisky #distillery #spirits
