It is frustrating to hear all these Savarkar praising throughout the show. However to clue you in a bit , I am talking about the cellular jail light and sound show here. From 5.15 everyday this show takes place for four times , in Hindi and English. A tree that is there inside the jail since the very beginning narrates the whole story of the jail in the voice of late Om Puri. It is magnificent to hear is firm voice talking about legends like Ganesh Ghosh , Ullaskar Dutta , Sher Ali Khan , Mahabir Singh etc who served their time in the cellular jail. My personal problem is keeping Savarkar in the same line as these people. A man who kept pleading the British for mercy with a promise to be a part of the freedom struggle again can never be a role model for anyone. Anyways , During the whole show it states atrocities by jailer david berry on the prisoners , the story of the gallows and of the condemned cells. Visiting these cells makes me depressed , i wonder how people manage to take selfies while visiting the gallows with hanging ropes , i wonder how couples manage to make out inside condemned cells where once prisoners counted their last days. Anyways let's not divert from the topic. So , during the end of the show the whole jail lights up in tri colour. This is one such time when I clicked.
