Get up and hit the road in time to watch the sunrise here, I don't care if that means you have to wake up at 3am. It's worth it. Bring a thermos of something hot, because until the sun is fully up, it's chilly. The place gets otherworldly with the changing light. The rocks are made from volcanic lava and ash, everything is swirly-whirly smooth. It's like Mother Nature decided to paint a Van Gogh volcano scene.
