Ahh Gourock, that lovely seaside town that I call home. Basically the best thing about this town is the views, as it is situated on the mainland of western Scotland where the river Clyde runs from beyond Glasgow and out into the Western Isles. The town has many cute cafes, bars with live music and boutiques, but is mainly a residential place. Hop on the train for the 40 minute ride into Glasgow central station or take the ferry across to an island or two. Watch the sun set over the yonder hills with a fresh fish supper from the local chip shop washed down with a cold can of Irn Bru. Magic! #home #scotland #scenic #seaside #sunsetspot
