Qutub Minar
A UNESCO world heritage site going back to the 11th century, Qutub is a place one must see in Delhi. Qutub Minar is the perfect example displaying various empire with the tallest minaret in the world and the Iron pillar from Chandragupta dynasty. Even though going to the top of the minaret is closed for tourists but it is a delight to view the history of various Muslim emperors' in Arabic & Parsi inscribed on the minar. The Iron Pillar is engraved with Brahmi Script from King Ashoka's era which can also be seen in various rock edicts throughout the country.
