Hakodate Asaichi
The Hakodate morning markets cover four blocks in the centre of the city. They sell all sorts of fresh produce and also have stalls where you can buy meals. There’s a wide variety of seafood, including crab, a Hokkaido specialty. Some stalls have live fish in tanks, and even offer fishing rods for customers to catch their own. The markets also sell fruit and vegetables. In summer, you can buy juicy Hokkaido melons, either whole or in slices. #hakodate #market #restaurants
