Kosach Family House
Lesya’s Living Room is a museum dedicated to beloved Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka (born Larysa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka). Her family lived in the house in the late 1800s. Here, Lesya wrote her first poem, “Hope,” when she was only eight years old. Lesya’s mother, Olene Pchilka, was also a renowned Ukrainian writer. In the museum, you’ll see dishes, lamps, writing tools, and copies of Lesya’s handwriting. Guided tours of the museum are available upon request. #poets #writers #lutsk
