Sunghyejeon
This shrine has been rebuilt in 1794 and contains three memorial tablets of Kim's family who ruled Silla empire, replacing the Pak's family who founded it. The tombs are from the 3rd century. You can see commemorative tablets of the King Muchi, King Munmu (who unified the country in 668), of the King Gyeongsun, the last Sylla ruler. There is also an altar dedicated to Alchi, the legendary founder of the clan. During spring and autumn, some commemorative events and ceremonies take place here. It is a nice place to visit in Gyeongju and it's free. #free #shrine #korea
