One of the best spots to take good sunset pictures in the entire state is Punta Cometa. From Mazunte, you just need to get on the beach and go right, then you will find some signs you need to follow. It is a 20 minutes hike in the forest to get to the magnificent edge of the mountain from where you can enjoy the sunset.
