The Art Collections Museum
In the heart of Bucharest (at the crossroads between the legendary Calea Victoriei and Calea Grivitei streets), the Romanit Palace houses the Art Collections Museum. The building is an early 19th-century palace displaying varied private art collections donated to the Romanian state. The name of the building was given after the Greek treasurer named Romanit, who was the landlord of this property until 1834. The palace has luxurious interiors and at some point in its history, it has even housed the Royal Offices. It is now part of the National Museum of Art of Romania and many temporary exhibitions and art openings take place here. #romania #bucharest #museum
