Although Krasnoyarsk is far from being the most touristic city in Russia, it has some hidden treasures. It's the third most important city in Siberia. The surroundings are full of recreative parks, mostly located on small islands on the Yenisei river. But in winter, you would probably enjoy more the busy streets of the city center. Mira Avenue is the main street in Krasnoyarsk and there are a lot of statues all along. It's sometimes unclear who are the people represented, but they are always interesting to stop by.
