Polperro
There is a village on the south coast of Cornwall which steals the heart of anyone who visits it. It is named Polperro. Nestled in a combe, attracts thousands of visitors every year and most of them end up either coming back, or even moving there. The shining gems of Cornwall, includes natural scenery, general friendliness of the community, attractive food and drink locations, history and culture sites. Its narrow and picturesque streets are built around the harbour, which is the heart and soul of the village. When the sun’s out, locals gather outside the Museum Tea Rooms to have a coffee and a chat. There’s lots of events that go on in the village, solely organised by the community, some of them are very small events. It attracts thousands of people during the summer, with its amazing firework display and festivals, but also retains a great and vibrant community once the tourists are gone. The other best things about the village are the harbour, the people, the museum, the winter time when Christmas lights bright in the night ... and the pubs. Life here is very quiet and, although you need to drive to go to the supermarket, it is still easy to access services. If you think there isn’t a lot of people here because a lot of holiday cottages are for rent, you should know there is quite a large and friendly community waiting for you.
