Sacromonte has got to be my favorite area of Granada. Composed of dozens of small caves high in the hills of the city, this area is known for its Roma (gitano) population who dance flamenco like nothing you've ever seen. (Seriously, the passion on those dancers' faces made me shiver in my chair). The neighborhood is very picturesque with narrow streets and whitewashed houses. It's quite steep, so wear comfortable shoes and have your camera ready to take some sweet landscape shots. #free #hiking #history
