Walvis Bay is a port city known for its thriving flamingo population. The best time to spot flocks of flamingos is during the warmer months, meaning January-March (aka the Southern Hemisphere’s summer season). Make sure you bring a camera with a good zoom lens to really capture the color and detail of these pink-feathered birds.
