The State Department Store was established in 1924 and you can find virtually everything in there. It's the equivalent of a mall, or a Tsum/Gum in Russia. Locals are usually coming here to buy their quality goods. Local and international brands, a large supermarket, clothes, jewelry, make-up, perfumes, coffee shops, multimedia stores and so on. It's the best place to buy mongolian cashmere and wool as you can be sure here that it's authentic. It will be more expensive than at the market, but the quality will be better as well.
