The entrance to this pulqueria can be difficult to spot; it is tucked in beside a church surrounded by a maze of street vendors selling religious artifacts. Once you’re inside, head upstairs and pay the 20 peso fee to learn about pulque’s history and the process of its creation in the small but dense museum. When you’re ready to give pulque a taste, walk back downstairs and grab a seat. Despite being associated with the museum, this pulqueria is frequented by more locals than tourists, and their pulque is excellent quality.
